This is just to say by d. kwan

This is Just to Say

when I say that I miss you
I’m only thinking of your mouth
and how it feels on me.

when I say I care about you
I’m only thinking of your smile
when you look at me
and how that makes me feel.

when I say that I love you
I’m only thinking of how
easy it is to forget you.

forgive me,
we were delicious
so sweet
and so cold.

This is just to say by William Carlos Williams

This Is Just to Say I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold

Censorship 2.0: China blocks all Google services → techcrunch.com

spaceships:

New Facebook game: “Who has the biggest dick?”

China has apparently barred its citizens from visiting a host of Google properties, including the main search engine, Google Apps, Google Reader, Gmail, Maps, Translate and Analytics. A search on Twitter (preferred hashtag #fuckgfw) reveals that many Chinese are complaining […]

Earlier this week…Google clashed with China over pornographic material that could possibly turn up in search results on Google’s Chinese language site. The search giant then agreed to “take all necessary steps” to ensure that this issue was resolved in due time.

Access was restored a couple hours later but it gave a taste of what a more prolonged ban might be like. Only slightly less horrifying: the realization of just how much I depend on everything Google. Try to use Yahoo or Baidu for more than 5 minutes without curling up into fetal position and whimpering.

“No, I didn’t know how to disarm you. That’s why I don’t want war. I want peace. But no more than peace. I will pass by you carefully, and I won’t touch you, I won’t embrace or kiss you. First, I have no desire for it, and second, I know that anything I may do will be turned by you into ammunition for your pistol.” —Imomortality by Milan Kundera

aching alliterations

aching alliterations
(alpha-
beta-
cal)
Bad boy breakfasts,
clever cunts come
deciding deciduous dramas,
each erroneous enough
from fantasy’s forefront.
Grand games guaranteed gone
henceforth hers, hereafter
ingesting indecision into indigestion
juggling jests, just
kept kidding
licentiously lying like
mama’s myths
noted nothings,
obviously onerous overreactions
pacing pain’s pageantry
quite quaint, quieting
responsively ridiculous, reprehensible reactions
so suddenly stupid.  Silly
tempests, torridly tempered
unions, unanswerably ubiquitous
voids. Vacant veterans
waiting, wasting, wallowing
xenon, xenophobic
youth yields yearning
zealots’ zero zenith.
